In 1620 the pilgrims sailed from England. The trip lasted 66 days. Then the pilgrimscrossedthe Atlantic Ocean. After, the pilgrims arrived in North America. As a result, the pilgrims started a new town, Plymouth. The first winter was very hard . Itwas cold and there was very little food. Besides that, the natives helped the pilgrims grow crops. Finally, the natives and the pilgrims celebrated with feast. There was a turkey, wild ducks, boiled pumpkin, fish and bread from corn.
